"Some 70 million metric tons of oil was so far produced in 2009, and it is planned to produce about 71.8 million-72 million metric tons next year," the company"s vice-president Sergei Brezitsky said.
The crude producer is also planning to invest between $3.3 billion and $3.5 billion in its upstream operations in 2010.
TNK-BP"s capital investment in the sector has already reached $2.7 billion in 2009 against the scheduled $2.1 billion.
